The incredible shipwreck that was found in the desert is a true marvel. The Eduard Bohlen hit the Namibian Skeleton Coast in 1909 and ran aground, bringing an end to its voyage. The 310-foot cargo ship was meant to complete a journey from Swakopmund towards Table Bay.

Diamond miners discovered the partially-buried ship in 2016, over a century after it was grounded. You can imagine the shock of the miners when they discovered the Eduard Bohlen loaded with gold and treasure.
