Checking the Sounds
Mark made his journey to the podium. Technicians worked around him to carefully arrange the microphone cords, so that any unforeseen problems would not ruin the event. Mark was gently told to check the microphone and make sure that it worked properly.
Mark tapped his fingers, causing a loud noise to reverberate across the speakers. This was a rehearsal for his amazing surprise. Mark prepared for the moment of truth, which would take place soon as the guests waited with anticipation.
Jack’s Turn
Mark took over the leading position while waiting for the arrival of the bride and the groom. Jack was the first person in line and his confidence was evident in each step. The two men stood together and shook their hands, showing a strong friendship. This helped to ease Mark’s anxieties.
After Jack, the bridesmaids arrived, a group made up of Lucy’s close friends. Mark was a bit uncomfortable because of the whispered words, and their quick glances. He remained firm despite the whispered conversations, knowing that he was going to play a key role in marrying Lucy and Jack.
