Moments of love
Mark said with a smile, “Today’s a beautiful day filled with love and joy.” I know how much Jack, Lucy and everyone else here means to me. He then recalled their first encounter and admitted that he believed their friendship would develop the way it did.
Mark’s declaration, “I could not have asked for a more perfect friend than Lucy,” was resonant with genuine sincerity. Lucy, in response to Mark’s sincere tribute, shed a tear as he spoke.
Not everyone is interested
Mark was so absorbed in his speech that he didn’t notice the maid-of-honor hissing and rolling her eyes. Mark and Lucy both noticed how it hurt. Lucy, thankfully, did not let this rudeness go unresolved. She stepped her heel back on the bridesmaid who was rude.
Lucy was not happy that anyone treated her friend Mark as if he were a nobody. Especially, she didn’t want one of her bridesmaids or other close friends to be doing it.
