Take the microphone
Lucy and Jack, in the warmth and joy of their wedding reception and as they stood before their family and friends, took a moment and thanked everyone for being part of this wonderful day. Mark was praised for his contributions to the couple’s lives. They both exchanged compliments.
The DJ called Mark to the podium again and handed him the microphone, anticipating the response of the audience. Lucy was especially curious about what Mark planned.
Surprise time
Mark stepped into the spotlight in the middle of the floor, holding a microphone. The reception hall was silent. Mark looked around at the faces of everyone who was now familiar, including the bride, and those who were waiting for his surprise. He was proud of pulling off the surprise.
