Jason said that he left the $450 tip to honor Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States. It was a sign of his hope for everyone to move forward together. This tip was much more than money. This was a big step in the right direction, as people of all backgrounds and political beliefs could now respect and care about each other. It was still a long way to go to reach that point.
