Grand Entrance
When designing a bunker, it is crucial to take into account the entrance. Wayne constructed concrete steps, with the top step at the same height as the bunker. It was logical.
It is easier to use a simple staircase than a ladder and it also looks better. Wayne could now finish the exterior and prepare the interior of the home, since the basic structure was complete.
Support Beams for Stability
Two I-beams were inserted into the structure to make it as safe as possible. They stabilized and supported the entire structure. The ground could shift at any time, making the bunker insecure.
