Let the air in
Installing air vents is just as important as installing sump pumps to remove water that has accumulated underground. Wayne knew no one could survive underground for very long if the air was not fresh and clean. He installed two vents of 12 inches at the front and rear of the shipping container.

Why was Wayne’s bunker built? It’s more practical than you think.
Let’s Pour Concrete
Waynes wasn’t going to take any risks. Wayne decided to encase his bunker in concrete because of the shifting ground, especially when the ground freezes.

Wayne’s pour looks perfect, even though pouring concrete can be a difficult task. The concrete looks smooth and even, and it will blend beautifully into the yard. At this stage, the project has taken up his entire yard. However, it will be worth the effort. The project is coming together.
