3. Shine Silverware
Aluminium foil can be used to restore the shine of your silverware. You only need to put a sheet of aluminium foil on the bottom of an heat-resistant container. Place your silverware over the top, and then add two teaspoons each of baking soda and salt. Pour a few cups hot water in the container, and then make sure that the silverware is completely submerged. After letting everything soak in hot water for about five minutes, rinse it with cold water. Shiny, sparkling silverware!
4. Clean Cast Iron
Use a small ball of tin to clean crusty cast-iron pans. This is an easy, but effective trick.
