5. Sharpen Scissors
It’s one of my favorites! This trick is surprisingly effective. You can use a piece tin foil to sharpen your scissors. Simply fold the foil in half several times, and then cut through it with the scissors. This is so effective, you won’t believe it! You will notice that your scissors are sharper, saving you time and effort.
6. Protect Pie Crust
Wrap a piece of tin-foil around the edges of your pie before placing it into the oven. It will not only add stability, but also prevent any potential mess. You can remove the foil half way through baking if you want your pie to be crispy. You can also use aluminum foil in an emergency if the edges of your pie appear to be too dark during baking.
