The room was vacant
She was shocked to find the room empty. Emma became more and more concerned and decided to check out the rest of her house. She hurriedly walked up to the bedrooms, thinking that Lily might be sleeping.
The door was opened to Lily’s bedroom, but she once again found an empty room.
A house that is empty
She searched every room: the bathroom, Sam’s bedroom, Sam and her own. No matter where she searched, Lily and Sarah were nowhere to be found. She ran down the stairs, already picturing worst-case scenarios and regretting her decision.
