Getting worried
Emma was awash with questions and worried. Lily did not have a phone and had no way of contacting Sarah.
She had to make a decision quickly. She had to find her daughter quickly.
Calling the Police
She picked up her phone and dialed the police. She was lucky that someone picked up her call fairly quickly. Emma told the officer the situation, hoping he could help her.
Emma was left feeling hopeless when he reacted in a totally different way.
