Unhelpful officers
The officer did not help at all. He laughed and said that Emma shouldn’t have been surprised by what happened since she had literally invited a woman homeless into her house.
Emma explained that she was forced to make a decision, but the officer would not listen.
She had to hurry
She was told that she would have to wait at least 24 hours before reporting the child as missing. Emma hung up on the officer and took matters into her hands.
She would have found Lily on her own if they had not helped!
