The fountain
Emma was on her way to Lily’s fountain when she noticed that some people were walking by. She approached them and showed them the photo and asked if they saw her.
She did not recognize anyone as Lily and neither did the people who she asked for assistance.
Feeling bad
She walked around the fountain a few times when she arrived, but Lily was nowhere to be seen. She sat down on the bench and stared at it, as she’d seen her daughter do many times.
She felt very guilty and couldn’t believe she did something so irresponsible…
