Calling home
Emma locked herself into a bathroom stall, pretending she needed to use the toilet. She grabbed her mobile and dialed the home landline, hoping Sarah would answer.
She could then continue to work with complete peace of mind. But nobody answered the phone…
No one picked up
Sarah went back to her desk, feeling more stressed than before. What was happening? Why didn’t anyone answer the phone? She knew Lily would not do it, she taught her to be careful. But it was strange that Sarah did not pick up the phone either.
