Reconnecting
The two spent the entire day talking, catching up on everything they missed. Jane told him that she was pregnant and expecting a child in a few weeks.
Her father received some bad news. He was diagnosed with arthritis. He wanted to reconnect because of this diagnosis.
Mixed emotions
Jane felt mixed emotions on the way home from spending the day with father. She was glad they had reconciled, but felt angry toward her mother.
