Rebuilding Bridges
Jane’s dad mused, “Family doesn’t just mean blood.” It’s about love, understanding and being there for one another. He continued with a renewed resolve: “It is time to rebuild.” Not only the relationships but also the broken faith. They were accompanied by tears, hugs and promises of a brighter tomorrow as they began their journey of healing.
Jane’s decision on Her Mother
Jane struggled to forgive her mother, whereas her father was easy to forgive. Jane said, “Mom it’s more than just today,” confessing that she was thinking about all the hurtful words and doubts.
“I need time.” She nodded as her mother swallowed her pride and realized that she needed to give time to her daughter to heal.
