Take the box
Both of them hated being in the circle, so they decided to hurry. Tommy’s fingers trembled as he reached for the box. His forehead was shivering.
Chris gently separated the fingers from the skeleton. Tommy then yanked away the box, echoing the sound of bones cracking in the ancient chamber.
A strange language
They concluded that they were reading a foreign language, perhaps an ancient one. They thought that they could have studied the box for many hours without gaining any knowledge.
The signs were confusing and they wanted to know what the contents of the box was.
