DEBORAH KERR – From Here to Eternity, 1953
Deborah Kerr is a six-time Academy Award winner and a symbol of grace and beauty in Hollywood. Her film career began in 1943 with the movie “The Life and Demise of Colonel Blimp”. One of her best performances was in “From Here to Eternity”, a romantic war epic adapted from James Jones novel.

Kerr played Karen Holmes in this iconic scene, which was set in an Army barracks on Hawaii’s Big Island during the Pearl Harbor Attack. She appeared alongside Frank Sinatra. She was a dazzling presence, wearing a vintage mini dress and embracing Sinatra in swimming trunks. Kerr’s elegance was on display in this moment.

Brigitte bardot made her acting debut in the 1952 movie “Crazy for Love”. But the 1958 French film “Manina, the Girl in the Bikini”, catapulted to fame. Bardot’s father tried to keep her image pure, but some photos of her in a Bikini emerged despite his efforts.

Bridgette is now known as a passionate animal rights activist. However, she was once an actress and singer. Before hanging up her boots, she starred in 46 films and recorded more than 60 songs. Bardot’s legacy is testament to her charm and versatility that has transcended generations.
