Jerry Lewis’s success in films caused a rift between him and Martin
Hal B. Wallis produced all Dean and Jerry films. This was something that the two became frustrated about over time. However, after telling a lot jokes and singing a few songs, these fears were washed out. Jerry’s album was a huge hit, and Decca Records signed him up to release it.
