She had listened and left her own family alone. She only sent him occasional updates about her other daughter Cassie. Emily listened attentively to her father’s story. Was he telling the truth, or was it a story told by an old man that forgot? Cassie is the woman that he contacted at the time of the photo shoot.
He told her all and asked if she was willing to submit to DNA testing. Cassie and Emily were both surprised by the news but Cassie decided to accept it. Cassie’s DNA test confirmed that her father was right. She is her half-sister. Emily felt mixed emotions.
