Original Career
Kate was a nurse long before her name became known. She continued working as one when Jon & Kate Plus 8 was released in 2007. She was a labor and deliver nurse at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Pennsylvania. She earned her multi-state registered nurse license for North Carolina in 2021.
No More Contact
In Touch Weekly reports that by August 2019, Kate had not attempted to gain custody of Collin or Hannah from Jon and, according to Jon, neither child has any contact with his mother.
