Bright Signal
On April 2 and 3 2014, UFO enthusiasts were enraged when they saw a mysterious bright flash of light that was captured by the Mars Curiosity Rover. UFO enthusiasts were convinced that it was a sign when the light flashed in two pictures taken on two separate days.
Justin Maki was responsible for the engineering cameras of the Curiosity Rover. He said the bright light could be a reflection from a surface rock. The light could also be coming through a crack in the Curiosity’s camera.
Bigfoot on Mars
An image taken in 2007 by the Mars Spirit Rover shows some rock formations found on the surface. This image was shared on UFO websites due to its familiar appearance. Look at what the arrow points out.
One of the rock formations resembled Bigfoot, or a statue of some kind. UFO Sightings Daily says that aliens put this female statue up. The Planetary Society, however, claims that this was just a rock creating an optical effect.
