She arrives

The vet examined the alligator and determined that the lump was actually a large hard mass which appeared to be attached to its organs. The vet was aware that she would have to perform surgery to determine the cause and possibly save the life of the alligator.

The vet removed the mass successfully without harming the alligator. When she opened it, everyone was shocked.
