A Moment of Emotion
Emily asked Sarah, “Do you understand what your name means?” But Sarah had no idea. She had no idea who else’s name ended in Shelter. After a few more seconds of staring, it suddenly dawned on her.
She said “No …”” with tears in her eyes. Sarah could no longer hold back her tears. “Emily… you didn’t… why?”
Sarah’s Shelter
Emily’s eyes sparkled as she said, “I named this building Sarah’s Shelter.” They both became emotional and laughed and cried with each other. Emily replied, “You are the reason why I am what I am today.”
She placed her hand gently on Sarah’s shoulders and looked deeply into her eyes.
