Blocking his family
The woman who was about to get married was in a tricky situation. She wanted to speak to Larry, but was worried that he would still cancel the wedding if she spoke to him. So, she decided to just let his family show up to the wedding.
She was afraid he’d still be angry at her. She was torn because she wanted to talk to her but didn’t want to risk his family calling him off. Or even worse, cancel the wedding! She desperately wanted a solution but was unsure what to do. She tried to remain calm and cool, as a typical bride would.
Barbara is nervous
Barbara felt a sense dread when she woke up the morning of her marriage. Although she had kept her secret from Larry, she was still anxious about meeting his family.
She was anxious as she prepared for her wedding. She worried about what Larry’s parents would think. She tried to remind herself to keep her focus on the big event, which was her wedding to Joel. She was excited to finally meet his family, but she also felt nervous. She was a blur!
