Empty Seats
As the guests speculated about the empty seats, attention quickly turned to the back. Barbara, dressed in her wedding gown, was walking down the aisle. She looked radiant in her gown. She looked perfect in her gown and makeup. Her hair was also flawless.
She began walking down the aisle to Larry, who was waiting for her at the end. It was the moment! This was the moment they had been waiting for. It is now the official start of their new chapter as husband and spouse. She was beaming from ear-to-ear as she realized nothing could ruin the moment. Except…
The doors have opened!
Barbara walked down the aisle with her father and was excited to see Larry. The official part of the wedding was about start. However, just before they started, a woman walked in through the doors of the altar.
Barbara was surprised to see anyone else there. She looked up at her father who appeared to be just as surprised. The door opened slowly and a woman walked in. What was happening? No one else should have been there at that time!
