Barbara was shocked and confused when the groom turned to her.
Larry’s wide-eyed disbelief was more powerful than any words. She wanted to be swallowed by the earth right away, just when she thought that she could not feel worse.
A big mistake!
Barbara made a mistake when she invited Larry’s mom to the wedding. She did not even inform him. She was full of regret and remorse. Her emotions got the best of her and she began to yell, scream and demand that the wedding should be cancelled.
She was overwhelmed by guilt and was unable think clearly or make rational decisions. It was obvious that she went too far. All the months of hard work were crumbling before her eyes.
