Larry, still shaking with anger, tried to calm down his fiancee Barbara. Barbara’s family members stepped in and guided Larry’s mom out of the venue.
After the confrontation, they were concerned for Barbara’s well-being. She seemed in shock and asked if anything could be done to help her.
The Master of Ceremonies
The groom gently guided the bride to the side of stage, while the master of ceremonies announced everyone would remain seated for the intermission. Larry finally got to speak the truth to his family about why he didn’t want them there.
He was relieved that this moment had finally arrived. He was thankful for the support of his bride. He was also responsible for the “surprise” because if he had only told Barbara the truth she would not have done it behind his back.
