Vehicle not registered
The database contained an unexpected discrepancy. Both the model of the vehicle he wanted, as well as the partial number plate he remembered, were flagged as unregistered. This odd revelation added to the mystery, as it suggested that the car may have been operating outside the normal registration protocol.
The system could only identify the vehicle, but not its owner or origin. Officer Davis was shocked by the revelation, but he didn’t let it stop him. He wasn’t about to give up on his goal.
