Calling dealerships
Davis started compiling a list of all the dealerships that sold this model of car in the locality. He believed that tracing the history of the car might help him identify the driver.
He hoped one of them would have the numberplate in their system, and be able to reveal the buyer. If he could find a clue, Davis could identify the speedster.
