The dealership was in a nearby state. Davis was six hours away from his hometown. He prepared his pen, notepad and notebook in anticipation of the buyer’s details.
He was met with a long silence after mentioning the number of plates to one. This silence told us a lot. Davis instinctively knew that the person on the other end of the line recognized the vehicle Davis had in mind.
