Calling for backup
The Honda driver chose to ignore the stop sign, a clear and unambiguous signal, and continued on without hesitation. This was an act of defiance, which wasn’t surprising, given Davis’s past reckless driving.
It was obvious that the driver had a blatant disregard for traffic rules and law enforcement. Davis’ options became more limited each second, and his responsibility increased.
