As they began to piece the puzzle together in their minds, a plausible theory started to emerge. The person behind the scam began to take advantage of test-drives at dealerships.
Installing these devices invisibly during these short tests would allow them to gain remote control over the vehicle. The device could be activated when the city is in darkness. The vehicle could be stolen without the thief being physicaly present.
