What to Do
The eggs looked almost ready to hatch. Hans was determined to get rid them so he climbed up onto his tractor and waited for his daughters to intervene. The girls jumped in the way of the tractor, refusing to move.
Hans said something else that shocked his girls to calm them down.
Happy Girls
Hans replied, “Okay, girls, I know the crops can’t be saved anymore, but we might still be able to save the eggs.” The girls’ faces were brightened and they leapt in joy.
They had to find a way to keep the whole batch of eggs warm.
