The Whit Masteron novel Badge of Evil was the inspiration for this 1958 American film noir. Charlton Heston was one of the actors who played a significant role in the film. Other cast members included Janet Leigh Joseph Calleia Akim Tamiroff and Marlene. It is worth watching because of its realistic portrayals of characters and brutal storyline. Laura
