Peter Weir directed this comedy-drama back in 1998. The story revolves around Truman Burbank, played by Jim Carrey. He grows up in a huge set that has hidden cameras recording his life to broadcast across the globe as a reality program.
Laura Linney is joined by Natascha MacElhone and Ed Harris. The film received critical acclaim. The film was a success commercially. The Truman Show received multiple nominations for various awards events.
Seahaven was based on the picturesque Seaside, Florida. Truman House is located at 31 Natchez Street. Some of the scenes were filmed in Panama City, Florida and Universal Studios in California.
Get Out – Alabama
Get Out was published in 2017. It is still highly regarded today. This horror film is rated as one of best of the 21st century by critics. Jordan Peele co-produced and directed this film.
He had never used a digital camera before. The Writers Guild of America ranked the script as one of the best of the 21st Century. The film follows the journey of a black photographer who spends a weekend at the house of his girlfriend. The movie stars Daniel Kaluuya and Catherine Keener, as well as Allison Williams, Richard Herd Bradley Whitford Stephen Root Caleb Landry Jones.
Alabama was chosen as the filming location. Peele says it is important to highlight the kindness and warmth of the locals, and the way they welcomed the Natchez Streetactors crew and the Natchez Streetactors. It has been a great advantage that Alabama is home to many movie lovers.
