St. George’s Church in Lukova, Czech Republic
St. George’s Church suffered many tragic events including its roof partially collapsing in 1968. The local congregation believed that the church was haunted, and abandoned it. It was vandalized heavily for many years. In 2012, an art student restored it and added 30 ghost sculptures. Now it is a popular tourist destination.

Kennecott, Alaska
Kennecott, Alaska is known for processing copper worth about $200 million. The place has been abandoned since over 60 years. Most of the buildings are completely deteriorated, but it is still a fascinating sight. In 1998, the National Park Service bought many of these buildings.
