The Aquatics Stadium
Rio de Janeiro hosted the Olympics in 2016 and many structures were constructed to prepare, including the Aquatics Stadium, which will host the finals of water polo, swimming and other sports. The construction began in 2014. It cost $38million to complete. The government promised to repurpose this stadium after the Olympics. However, that promise never materialized and the stadium is now abandoned and crumbling.
San-Zhi Pod City
TSan-Zhi Pod City can be found in Taiwan. These UFO-shaped homes, originally built in 1978 as a vacation destination, were meant for U.S. Military officers. However, the project was never completed. The project was abandoned because investors could not fund it. Now, YouTubers are exploring the abandoned pod city.
