Athens Olympic Venues
Athens was the host city for the Summer Olympic Games of 2004. Many stadiums were constructed to accommodate the Games, which cost the city $160 millions. These venues were not repurposed after the Olympics, even though the government wished to convert them into housing. Many of the venues were abandoned.

Lynnewood Hall
In three years, Lynnewood Hall, built in Elkins Park in Pennsylvania in the 1800s, was constructed. Peter A.B. owned this grandiose mansion. Widener used to throw lavish parties in his Gilded Age homes. The mansion was left abandoned after Widener’s death. In 1952, Faith Theological Seminary purchased it for $192,000.
