Breaux, as most homeowners do, was aware that his house needed to protect him against the elements. It was necessary to insulate every surface to make the containers behave like walls. Breaux used spray foam cell on all surfaces indoors. This spray expanded into a thick layer that was strong enough for even the harshest Texas winter.
Breaux installed extra insulation in his ceilings to ensure that he wouldn’t hear anything above or below. Breaux is able to listen to music or watch movies without disturbing anyone. Ceilings are fitted with 6 inches of acoustic insulation foam. Breaux has thought of everything for his container home.
