3D modeling: mapping out the world
Breaux did not make the decision to build his home from storage containers on a whim. Breaux, a Texas man, carefully considered the best configuration for his dream house. Breaux wanted to know what the containers would do for him. He used a 3D modeling system to show how each piece would be placed.
It was like building a Lego home, but virtually. Breaux was able to play around with the layout without physically moving those large containers. Breaux’s plan was ready for implementation. He was in need of the sources. He had to first buy the containers, then the fixtures and fittings that would transform his structure into a house.
