His wide-open, astonished eyes were a shock to him! This policeman was clearly shocked by the look on his face. Oscar eventually lost patience and joined the group. When the officers ceased to whisper, they stopped. Oscar was unconcerned, however. He demanded an answer.

Oscar demanded that the policemen respond. Oscar was surprised when the policemen did something he hadn’t expected. Oscar was astonished when the policemen stepped away and exclaimed, “Sir!” Keep still and do not move.
