Growing Impatient
The expert was still sitting. Oscar and Lily remained in darkness while the expert checked the ground. Oscar wondered what the situation was. He was losing his patience, because he was eager to find out if the situation was really that bad. He couldn’t simply ask the expert. !
Calling for backup
When he finally stood up, the expert did not look at his family. Oscar thought that it was absurd. He became enraged, and demanded that the man describe what he saw and what caused him to shout. Oscar shouted “I need backup!” and “Leave Me Alone!” as the expert was about leave.
