Before you can microwave raw peanuts, they need to be shelled.
Nuts that are still in their shells should not be microwaved. You need to remove them first. Then, and only then, can you safely pop them in the microwave. Once you have removed the shells, place them in a container that is microwave safe. Then you can roast your perfect peanuts.

Add a slab or two of butter for the best roasted peanuts. Add a few teaspoons of water before you microwave them to soften the nuts. Putting raw peanuts with the shells is a recipe for disaster.
Microwaves shouldn’t be used to get ink flowing again in pens
It’s frustrating when your favorite pen dries up and you can’t use anymore. You can get the ink flowing by heating it, but don’t use a microwave. First, the majority of pens are made from plastic or metal. We know that it is dangerous to microwave these materials.

If you do this, your pen could melt, your microwave may catch fire, or toxic fumes will be released from the plastic. Your favorite pen could be destroyed if any of those things happen. Submerge the pen in warm water instead to get it moving again. You can save your pen and not break your microwave.
