What you should never put in the microwave

Honey can be re-smoothed in the microwave after it has crystallized.

Honey is one of the many wonderful ingredients you should always have in your pantry. Honey is a must-have for any pantry. It can be used to sweeten food or spread on toast. You can also reap many health benefits from it, such as lowering your blood pressure and cholesterol.

Honey can become crystallized over time. Our little-known microwave use comes in handy. You can get your honey back to its smooth consistency by placing it in the micro-wave for a couple of seconds. It should melt any crystals and make it easy to spread again.

The microwave is a great way to make crayons for kids.

You may wonder why some items are put in the microwave. Crayons are a good example. These things aren’t edible, so putting them into this device will only make them melt. This is not necessarily a bad thing. You can create crayon shapes in the microwave for your kids.

You only need to break some crayons up and put the pieces in a mold that is microwave safe. You can microwave on high for two minutes. However, depending on the appliance you have, it may take longer. Place the mold into the freezer to allow the shapes to cool. You can then pop them out.
