A warning
The email was incredibly short. The email did not go into any detail about the object or give any background information. The warning was clear and urgent. The previous owner almost begged Mark to bury and hide the mysterious artifact, as if it hadn’t been found.
Mark’s insistent request that he keep this discovery a secret was more alarming. No explanations were given. Only a directive to keep the discovery secret. Mark was confused by the severity of the warning. As he sat at home in silence, a feeling of unease began to settle.
