Veronica answered every question as accurately as she could, telling him as much as she could about Bella’s health, her appetite, and her behavior. She hoped that Dr. Johnson would be able to determine what was wrong with Bella… she hated seeing her in such pain.
Bella is afraid
The doctor approached Bella calmly and allowed her to sniff his hand. She was clearly terrified. Her head was held low and her eyes were wide open. Her tail was tucked in between her legs.
Veronica wanted her to hug, but she knew that she had to let the doctor handle his business.
