Veronica was consumed by curiosity and wanted to solve the mystery. Dr. Johnson outlined his fears – police suspicions and a potential danger. He had heard a disturbing conversation outside the veterinary clinic between three police officers.
What they said was not great to say the least.

He could not ignore this matter! He decided to find Veronica and tell her personally.
