Answering the Phone
The phone rang with a chilling voice that sent Veronica and Johnson into a frenzy. “Veronica, come to me. “Your life is on the line, and I am the only one who can protect you,” said a voice.
Dr. Johnson advised Veronica to inquire about the identity of the caller and the reason behind the anonymous call. Veronica, apprehensively, followed his advice.
Hanging up on the phone
The voice became more edgy and sounded angry. You don’t have to know. Your safety is paramount. Tell me where you are. “Tell me! Tell me!” Dr. Johnson signaled Veronica discreetly to end the conversation.
She disconnected the unknown caller without hesitation and with trembling hands.
