The policeman handed Veronica a document that stated the information regarding her dog would remain confidential. Veronica was once again intrigued by the need to keep secrets.
She hesitated a little, but signed the contract anyway, eager to find out what was hidden.

The officer returned to the office after the contract had been signed and processed. He sat opposite Veronica. He took a moment to pause before explaining what had happened. I’m sorry but your dog has had an allergic reaction to something in your home. Veronica frowned.
